A NFA Firearm is a weapon that has been categorized by the National Firearms Act of 1934. These weapons include Short Barrel Rifles (SBR’s), Short Barrel Shotguns (SBS’s) Machineguns, Silencers, and Any Other Weapon (AOW) which meet limited other characteristics. The BATFE (Bureau of Alcohol Tabacco, Firearms and Explosives) collects a $200 Tax associated with these types of weapons. In order to place an order for such items with Nemo Arms you will find a local Dealer who holds both a FFL and SOT that Nemo Arms will transfer the item to on a Form 3 transfer. Once your Dealer obtains it you will then start your Form 4 process by submitting payment of 200.00, along with your Form 4, fingerprints and photos.
